ضمن أنشطة مشروع "مبادرة السلام المستدام: دور المرأة للوقاية من النزاعات والاستجابة لها"، نظمت منظمة إشراقات للتنمية في محافظة ذي قار، يوم 24 حزيران 2026، جلسة حوارية حملت عنوان "دعم مشاركة المرأة في منع الصراع والتأثير مع أصحاب القرار المحليين"، وذلك بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في العراق، وبتمويل من صندوق المرأة للسلام والعمل الإنساني.
واستعرض المشاركون خلال الجلسة أهمية توسيع دور المرأة في مسارات الوقاية من النزاعات، بوصفها شريكًا أساسيًا في تعزيز الأمن المجتمعي وصناعة السلام، مؤكدين ضرورة توفير بيئة داعمة تمكن النساء من المشاركة الفاعلة في الحوارات والقرارات المتعلقة بالشأن المحلي.
كما ناقش الحاضرون سبل تطوير آليات الإنذار المبكر وتعزيز التنسيق بين الجهات الحكومية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني والقيادات المحلية، بما يسهم في التعامل المبكر مع التحديات المجتمعية والحد من تفاقمها، إلى جانب ترسيخ قيم الحوار والشراكة المجتمعية.
واختتمت الجلسة بالتأكيد على أهمية إيجاد أطر حوارية مستدامة تجمع مختلف الأطراف المعنية، بما يعزز مشاركة النساء في رسم السياسات المحلية، ويضمن إدماج احتياجاتهن في الخطط التنموية، وصولًا إلى مجتمعات أكثر استقرارًا وتماسكًا.
As part of the "Sustainable Peace Initiative: Women's Role in Conflict Prevention and Response" project, the Ishraqat Development Organization in Dhi Qar Governorate held a dialogue session on June 24, 2026, entitled "Supporting Women's Participation in Conflict Prevention and Influencing Local Decision-Makers." The session was supported by UN Women in Iraq and funded by the Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund.
Participants discussed the importance of expanding women's role in conflict prevention efforts, recognizing them as essential partners in promoting community security and peacebuilding. They emphasized the need to provide a supportive environment that enables women to actively participate in dialogues and decisions related to local affairs.
Attendees also discussed ways to develop early warning mechanisms and enhance coordination among government agencies, civil society organizations, and local leaders. This coordination aims to facilitate early intervention in addressing community challenges and mitigating their escalation, while also strengthening the values of dialogue and community partnership. The session concluded by emphasizing the importance of finding sustainable dialogue frameworks that bring together the various stakeholders, thereby enhancing women’s participation in shaping local policies and ensuring that their needs are integrated into development plans, leading to more stable and cohesive societies.
