شهدت محافظة ذي قار تنظيم ثالث جلسة حوارية ضمن مشروع "مبادرة السلام المستدام: دور المرأة للوقاية من النزاعات والاستجابة لها"، نفذتها منظمة إشراقات للتنمية في 25 حزيران 2026، بمشاركة مجموعة جديدة من المهتمين بالشأن المجتمعي، وبعنوان "دعم مشاركة المرأة في منع الصراع والتأثير مع أصحاب القرار المحليين". ويأتي المشروع بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في العراق وتمويل صندوق المرأة للسلام والعمل الإنساني.
وركزت الحوارات على السبل الكفيلة بتمكين المرأة من أداء دور أكبر في الحد من النزاعات، من خلال تعزيز حضورها في مساحات الحوار مع صناع القرار المحليين، وفتح قنوات تواصل تسهم في تبني حلول أكثر استجابة للتحديات التي تواجه المجتمعات المحلية.
كما ناقش المشاركون أهمية تطوير أدوات الإنذار المبكر، وتوسيع نطاق الشراكات بين المؤسسات الحكومية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني والقيادات المجتمعية، بما يساعد على رصد مؤشرات النزاع مبكرًا، وتحويلها إلى فرص للحوار والمعالجة قبل تفاقمها، فضلاً عن دعم التماسك المجتمعي وترسيخ ثقافة التعاون.
وخلصت الجلسة إلى مجموعة من المقترحات العملية، من بينها اعتماد لقاءات تشاورية منتظمة تجمع المسؤولين المحليين مع ممثلي المجتمع المدني والشخصيات الفاعلة، والعمل على إشراك النساء بصورة أوسع في صياغة الخطط التنموية وصنع القرار، بما يعزز بناء السلام ويحقق تنمية تراعي خصوصية المجتمعات المتأثرة بالنزاعات.
The Dhi Qar Governorate hosted the third dialogue session of the "Sustainable Peace Initiative: The Role of Women in Conflict Prevention and Response" project, implemented by the Ishraqat Development Organization on June 25, 2026. The session, titled "Supporting Women's Participation in Conflict Prevention and Influencing Local Decision-Makers," brought together a new group of community stakeholders. The project is supported by UN Women in Iraq and funded by the Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund.
The discussions focused on ways to empower women to play a greater role in conflict reduction by enhancing their presence in dialogue with local decision-makers and opening communication channels that contribute to adopting more responsive solutions to the challenges facing local communities.
Participants also discussed the importance of developing early warning mechanisms and expanding partnerships between government institutions, civil society organizations, and community leaders. This would help monitor conflict indicators early and transform them into opportunities for dialogue and resolution before they escalate, as well as support social cohesion and foster a culture of cooperation. The session concluded with a set of practical proposals, including the adoption of regular consultative meetings that bring together local officials with representatives of civil society and influential figures, and working to involve women more broadly in formulating development plans and decision-making, in order to promote peacebuilding and achieve development that takes into account the specificities of conflict-affected communities.
