واصلت منظمة إشراقات للتنمية تنفيذ أنشطة مشروعها في محافظة الديوانية، حيث أقامت في 24 حزيران 2026 الجلسة الحوارية الثانية مع مجموعة جديدة من المشاركين تحت عنوان "دعم مشاركة المرأة في منع الصراع والتأثير مع أصحاب القرار المحليين"، ضمن مشروع "مبادرة السلام المستدام: دور المرأة للوقاية من النزاعات والاستجابة لها"، بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في العراق وبتمويل من صندوق المرأة للسلام والعمل الإنساني.
وركزت الجلسة على استعراض السبل الكفيلة بتعزيز حضور المرأة في جهود الوقاية من النزاعات وصنع السلام، من خلال توسيع قنوات التواصل مع أصحاب القرار المحليين، وبحث آليات تفعيل التعاون بين مختلف الجهات المعنية بما يسهم في دعم الاستقرار والاستجابة المبكرة للتحديات التي قد تؤثر في السلم المجتمعي.
كما ناقش المشاركون أهمية تطوير منظومات الإنذار المبكر، وتعزيز الشراكات بين المؤسسات المحلية والمجتمع المدني والقيادات المجتمعية والشركاء الدوليين، بهدف إيجاد استجابات أكثر فاعلية تنطلق من احتياجات المجتمع المحلي، وتدعم قيم الحوار والتماسك المجتمعي.
وفي ختام الجلسة، خرج المشاركون بجملة من المقترحات التي دعت إلى إنشاء أطر حوارية مستمرة تجمع ممثلي السلطات المحلية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني والشخصيات المجتمعية، بما يعزز مشاركة النساء في رسم السياسات المحلية، والإسهام في إعداد وتنفيذ خطط تنموية تراعي تحديات النزاعات وتدعم تحقيق السلام والتنمية المستدامة.
The Ishraqat Development Organization continued its project activities in Diwaniyah Governorate, holding its second dialogue session on June 24, 2026, with a new group of participants. The session, titled "Supporting Women's Participation in Conflict Prevention and Influencing Local Decision-Makers," was part of the "Sustainable Peace Initiative: The Role of Women in Conflict Prevention and Response" project, supported by UN Women in Iraq and funded by the Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund.
The session focused on exploring ways to enhance women's participation in conflict prevention and peacebuilding efforts by expanding communication channels with local decision-makers and discussing mechanisms for activating cooperation among various stakeholders. This cooperation aims to support stability and provide early response to challenges that may affect social peace.
Participants also discussed the importance of developing early warning systems and strengthening partnerships between local institutions, civil society, community leaders, and international partners. The goal is to create more effective responses that stem from the needs of the local community and support the values of dialogue and social cohesion. At the end of the session, the participants came up with a number of proposals calling for the establishment of continuous dialogue frameworks that bring together representatives of local authorities, civil society organizations and community figures, in order to enhance women’s participation in shaping local policies and contribute to the preparation and implementation of development plans that take into account the challenges of conflicts and support the achievement of peace and sustainable development.
