ورشة القيادة المرنة والتواصل للمدافعات والمنظمات العاملة في مجال حقوق المرأة".

وهدفت الورشة إلى تعزيز قدرات الناشطات والمدافعات عن حقوق المرأة في مجالات القيادة والتواصل والظهور الإعلامي، بمشاركة 20 من المدافعات وممثلات منظمات المجتمع المدني المعنية بحقوق المرأة.

وتضمنت الورشة عدداً من المحاور المهمة، أبرزها استعراض القوانين والمعاهدات الدولية الخاصة بحقوق المرأة ضمن الإطار الأممي، وتسليط الضوء على أبرز الحقوق التي كفلها الدستور العراقي للنساء. كما تناولت مفهوم القيادة المرنة وأساليبها ومهاراتها والخطوات العملية لبناء قيادة مؤثرة، إلى جانب مناقشة التحديات والصعوبات التي تواجه المرأة في المناصب القيادية.

وشهدت الورشة تقديم تدريبات متخصصة في مهارات الاتصال والتواصل وتطبيقاتها العملية، فضلاً عن استعراض أساليب الظهور الإعلامي الحديثة والمبتكرة. كما تطرقت إلى إدارة المخاطر الأمنية التي تواجه النساء، وآليات تعزيز الأمان الشخصي والمهني، وفهم طبيعة المخاطر المحتملة وسبل التعامل معها.

وتناولت الجلسات التدريبية استراتيجيات الحماية الذاتية، مع شرح عدد من الوسائل التقنية والإرشادات العملية التي تسهم في رفع مستوى السلامة والأمان، إضافة إلى تنمية مهارات التقييم الذاتي والاستباقي للمخاطر من خلال إعداد خطط استجابة سريعة وفعالة.

وفي ختام الورشة، قدمت المشاركات مجموعة من الخطط والمقترحات العملية التي من شأنها المساهمة في مواجهة المخاطر وتعزيز الحماية الذاتية للنساء، بما يدعم دورهن في العمل المجتمعي والدفاع عن حقوق المرأة.

Mr. Thaer Al-Abadi, President of Ishraqat for Development Organization, participated as a trainer in a two-day workshop organized by Awan Organization for Awareness and Capacity Building from June 9–10, 2026, in Al-Muthanna Governorate, under the title “Adaptive Leadership and Communication for Women Human Rights Defenders and Organizations Working in the Field of Women's Rights.”

The workshop aimed to strengthen the capacities of women activists and human rights defenders in the areas of leadership, communication, and media presence, with the participation of 20 women defenders and representatives of civil society organizations concerned with women's rights.

The workshop covered several key topics, including an overview of international laws and treaties related to women's rights within the United Nations framework, as well as highlighting the rights guaranteed to women under the Iraqi Constitution. It also addressed the concept of adaptive leadership, its approaches and skills, and the practical steps required to build effective leadership, in addition to discussing the challenges and obstacles faced by women in leadership positions.

Participants received specialized training in communication skills and their practical applications, along with sessions on modern and innovative media engagement techniques. The workshop also addressed security risk management for women, mechanisms for enhancing personal and professional safety, understanding potential risks, and strategies for responding to them effectively.

The training sessions further explored self-protection strategies, introducing various technical tools and practical guidelines aimed at improving safety and security. In addition, participants developed skills in proactive risk assessment and response planning through the preparation of rapid and effective action plans.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants presented a number of practical plans and recommendations designed to help mitigate risks and strengthen women's self-protection measures, thereby supporting their role in community engagement and the advancement of women's rights.
