في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى رفع جاهزية المجتمعات المحلية في محافظة الديوانية لمواجهة الأزمات، عملت منظمة إشراقات للتنمية (IDO) على تعزيز آليات الاستجابة الفعالة عبر اجتماع تشاركي جاء ضمن أنشطة مشروع “مبادرة السلام المستدام”.
الاجتماع، الذي أُقيم في 8 آذار 2026 بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في العراق وبتمويل من صندوق المرأة للسلام والعمل الإنساني (WPHF)، ركّز على إعداد تصور عملي لخطة استجابة للأزمات، من خلال تمكين النساء وإشراكهن في عمليات تحليل المخاطر والتخطيط، فضلاً عن دورهن في ترسيخ السلم المجتمعي.
وشهدت الجلسات نقاشات موسّعة بمشاركة وجهاء وشيوخ عشائر وممثلين عن الشرطة المجتمعية، حيث تم التطرق إلى أهمية إنشاء نظام متكامل للمراقبة والتقييم، يعتمد على المراجعة الدورية وتوثيق الدروس المستفادة، بما يسهم في تطوير آليات فاعلة لرصد المخاطر وتعزيز قدرات الإنذار المبكر.
As part of efforts to enhance the preparedness of local communities in Diwaniyah Governorate to face crises, the Ishraqat Development Organization (IDO) worked to strengthen effective response mechanisms through a participatory meeting held within the framework of the “Sustainable Peace Initiative” project.
The meeting, held on March 8, 2026, with support from UN Women in Iraq and funding from the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF), focused on developing a practical framework for a crisis response plan. This framework emphasizes empowering women and involving them in risk analysis and planning processes, as well as their role in consolidating social peace.
The sessions included extensive discussions with the participation of tribal leaders, sheikhs, and representatives from community policing. The importance of establishing an integrated monitoring and evaluation system was addressed, one based on periodic review and documentation of lessons learned. This system aims to develop effective mechanisms for risk monitoring and enhance early warning capabilities
