عقدت منظمة إشراقات للتنمية، بالتعاون مع قسم شؤون المرأة في محافظة المثنى، اجتماعًا ضمن مشروع “مبادرة السلام المستدام: دور المرأة في الوقاية من النزاعات والاستجابة لها”، وذلك بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في العراق وتمويل صندوق المرأة للسلام والعمل الإنساني (WPHF).
وجرى الاجتماع في 4 آذار/مارس 2026، بهدف إعداد خطة محلية للاستجابة للأزمات التي تهدد السلم المجتمعي، عبر مجموعة من المحاور الأساسية، أبرزها تدريب النساء على مهارات القيادة والحوار المجتمعي، وتعزيز مشاركتهن في عمليات التخطيط المحلي.
كما ركّز الاجتماع على إبراز دور المرأة في الاستجابة المبكرة للأزمات، وصياغة استجابات نسوية استباقية، إلى جانب تجميع المخرجات ضمن إطار خطة محلية طويلة الأمد.
وشهد الاجتماع مشاركة عدد من مسؤولات وحدات وشُعب شؤون المرأة، وممثلين عن الشرطة المجتمعية، إضافة إلى عدد من الشخصيات المعنية، فيما أدارت الجلسة المهندسة زمن الحمداني.
The Ishraqat Organization for Development, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Department in Al-Muthanna Governorate, held a meeting as part of the project “Sustainable Peace Initiative: The Role of Women in Conflict Prevention and Response,” with support from UN Women in Iraq and funding from the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF).
The meeting took place on March 4, 2026, aiming to develop a local plan to respond to crises that threaten community peace. This was pursued through several key s, most notably training women in leadership and community dialogue skills, and strengthening their participation in local planning processes.
The meeting also focused on highlighting the role of women in early crisis response and formulating proactive, women-led responses, in addition to consolidating outcomes within a long-term local action plan framework.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials from Women’s Affairs units and divisions, representatives of the community police, and several concerned stakeholders. The session was moderated by Engineer Zaman Al-Hamdani
