ضمن جهودها لتعزيز الاستقرار المجتمعي، شرعت منظمة إشراقات للتنمية (IDO) في بلورة ملامح خطة محلية متكاملة للاستجابة للأزمات، من خلال لقاء تشاركي جاء ضمن أنشطة مشروع “مبادرة السلام المستدام”.
اللقاء، الذي نُفّذ بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في العراق وبتمويل من صندوق المرأة للسلام والعمل الإنساني (WPHF)، ركّز على توسيع قاعدة المشاركة المجتمعية، لا سيما عبر تمكين النساء من أداء دور محوري في صناعة القرار، بما يضمن إدماج رؤاهن ضمن آليات الاستجابة للأزمات.
كما تطرّق النقاش إلى أهمية اعتماد الحوار المجتمعي كأداة فاعلة لحل النزاعات، عبر مبادرات تقودها النساء وتعمل على تقريب وجهات النظر وتعزيز السلم الأهلي.
وشهد النشاط حضور ممثلين عن الشرطة المجتمعية، إلى جانب عدد من الأكاديميين ووجهاء المدينة، في مؤشر على تنامي التعاون بين مختلف الفاعلين لدعم الاستقرار وبناء مجتمعات أكثر تماسكاً.
As part of its efforts to promote community stability, the Ishraqat Development Organization (IDO) began developing a comprehensive local crisis response plan through a participatory meeting held within the framework of the “Sustainable Peace Initiative” project.
The meeting, implemented with support from UN Women in Iraq and funding from the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF), focused on broadening community participation, particularly by empowering women to play a pivotal role in decision-making, thus ensuring their perspectives are integrated into crisis response mechanisms.
The discussion also addressed the importance of adopting community dialogue as an effective tool for conflict resolution through women-led initiatives that bridge divides and promote social cohesion.
The event was attended by representatives from the community police, along with a number of academics and community leaders, indicating growing cooperation among various stakeholders to support stability and build more cohesive communities
