عقدت منظمة إشراقات للتنمية (IDO)، ضمن أنشطة مشروع مبادرة السلام المستدام، وبالتعاون مع هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في العراق وبدعم وتمويل من صندوق المرأة للسلام والعمل الإنساني (WPHF)، يوم 14 شباط 2026 اجتماعاً تشاركياً بعنوان "إعداد خطة محلية للاستجابة للأزمات المهدِّدة للسلم المجتمعي"، في محافظة الديوانية بمشاركة عدد من الشخصيات الحكومية ووجهاء المدينة وممثلي الشرطة المجتمعية.
ويأتي هذا الاجتماع في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى تحليل ديناميكيات المجتمع المحلي وتحديد الأزمات المحتملة ومصادر التوتر التي قد تهدد السلم المجتمعي، فضلاً عن ربط تلك التحديات بالمناطق والفئات الأكثر عرضة للتأثر، بما يسهم في وضع استجابات واقعية قائمة على احتياجات المجتمع المحلي.
وشهد اللقاء نقاشات تفاعلية بين المشاركين ركزت على تحديد أبرز التحديات المجتمعية والسيناريوهات المحتملة للأزمات، إلى جانب صياغة استجابات نسوية استباقية تسهم في تعزيز الاستقرار المجتمعي والحد من التوترات، مع التأكيد على أهمية إشراك النساء في عمليات صنع القرار المرتبطة بإدارة الأزمات وبناء السلام.
كما تم الاتفاق على تجميع مخرجات الاجتماع ضمن هيكل متكامل لخطة نسوية محلية طويلة الأمد، تهدف إلى تعزيز قدرة المجتمع على الاستجابة للأزمات بصورة مبكرة وفعّالة، وبما يدعم جهود بناء السلام والاستقرار في محافظة الديوانية.
The Ishraqat Organization for Development (IDO) organized, as part of the activities of the Sustainable Peace Initiative Project, and in cooperation with UN Women Iraq and with support and funding from the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF), a participatory meeting on February 14, 2026, titled:
“Developing a Local Plan for Responding to Crises Threatening Community Peace.”
The meeting was attended by a number of government officials, community leaders, and representatives of the community police.
This meeting comes within ongoing efforts to analyze local community dynamics and identify potential crises and sources of tension that may threaten social peace. It also aimed to link these challenges to the most vulnerable areas and groups, contributing to the development of realistic responses based on local community needs.
The meeting featured interactive discussions among participants focusing on identifying the most prominent community challenges and possible crisis scenarios, as well as formulating proactive gender-responsive approaches that contribute to strengthening community stability and reducing tensions. Participants also emphasized the importance of women’s participation in decision-making processes related to crisis management and peacebuilding.
It was agreed that the outcomes of the meeting would be compiled into an integrated framework for a long-term local women-led plan aimed at strengthening the community’s capacity to respond to crises in an early and effective manner, thereby supporting peacebuilding and stability efforts in Diwaniyah Governorate
