في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز السلم المجتمعي وتطوير قنوات الحوار بين مختلف فئات المجتمع، نظّمت منظمة إشراقات للتنمية (IDO) اجتماعاً حوارياً في محافظة ذي قار ضمن أنشطة مشروع مبادرة السلام المستدام، وذلك بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في العراق وبتمويل من صندوق المرأة للسلام والعمل الإنساني (WPHF).
وشهد الاجتماع مشاركة ممثلين عن الشرطة المجتمعية إلى جانب عدد من الوجهاء وشيوخ العشائر ونشطاء المجتمع المدني، حيث جرى بحث آليات تطوير الحوارات المجتمعية وتعزيز ثقافة التفاهم المشترك بما يسهم في الحد من النزاعات وتعزيز الاستقرار المجتمعي.
وتضمن اللقاء مناقشة إعداد خطة محلية للاستجابة للأزمات التي قد تهدد السلم المجتمعي، من خلال تحليل الواقع الاجتماعي والأمني في المحافظة، وتحديد أبرز أنماط الهشاشة والتأثر بالأزمات لدى الفئات المختلفة في المجتمع.
كما ركزت النقاشات على اعتماد مقاربة مجتمعية من منظور نسوي تسعى إلى تعزيز دور المرأة في عمليات بناء السلام، والتأكيد على أهمية زيادة إشراك النساء في عمليات صنع القرار، بما يضمن دمج وجهات نظرهن واحتياجاتهن في خطط الاستجابة للأزمات.
وأكد المشاركون أهمية استمرار مثل هذه اللقاءات الحوارية التي تسهم في تعزيز الثقة بين المجتمع والمؤسسات، ودعم المبادرات المحلية الهادفة إلى ترسيخ مفاهيم السلم المجتمعي والتعايش المشترك في محافظة ذي قار.
As part of ongoing efforts to promote social peace and strengthen channels of dialogue among different segments of society, the Ishraqat Organization for Development (IDO) organized a dialogue meeting in Dhi Qar Province as part of the activities of the Sustainable Peace Initiative Project, with support from UN Women in Iraq and funding from the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF).
The meeting brought together representatives of the Community Police, along with a number of tribal leaders, community elders, and civil society activists, where participants discussed mechanisms for developing community dialogue and promoting a culture of mutual understanding in ways that help reduce conflicts and strengthen social stability.
The meeting also included discussions on preparing a local crisis response plan for situations that may threaten social peace, through analyzing the social and security realities in the province and identifying the main patterns of vulnerability and crisis impact affecting different groups within society.
Discussions also focused on adopting a community-based feminist approach aimed at strengthening women’s role in peacebuilding processes, and emphasizing the importance of increasing women’s participation in decision-making, ensuring that their perspectives and needs are integrated into crisis response plans.
Participants emphasized the importance of continuing such dialogue meetings, which contribute to strengthening trust between communities and institutions and supporting local initiatives aimed at promoting social peace and coexistence in Dhi Qar Province.
