 جلسة توعية في السوير لتعزيز مفاهيم الزراعة الذكية

أقامت منظمة إشراقات للتنمية وبدعم من السفارة السويسرية في العراق الجلسة الخامسة في قضاء السوير بمحافظة المثنى وذلك ضمن مشروع معا من أجل بيئة مستدامة الذي يستهدف محافظتي المثنى والديوانية

أقيمت الجلسة بالتنسيق مع مديرية زراعة المثنى وبمشاركة عدد من المزارعين حيث تولى إدارتها السيد علي عبدالحسين حدوان وجرى خلالها استعراض أهمية الزراعة الذكية مناخيا ودورها في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي وضمان استدامة الموارد الطبيعية

ركزت الجلسة على آليات الاستخدام الرشيد للمياه وتخفيض التكاليف التشغيلية وطرح نماذج لمحاصيل زراعية جديدة تتلاءم مع طبيعة المناخ المحلي كما تمت الإشارة إلى ضرورة تطوير الممارسات الزراعية بما يسهم في تحسين الإنتاج وزيادة كفاءة الأرض

Awareness Session in Al-Suwair to Promote Climate-Smart Agriculture under Ishraqat for Development Project

Ishraqat for Development Organization, with the support of the Swiss Embassy in Iraq, organized the fifth awareness session in Al-Suwair District, Al-Muthanna Governorate, as part of the project “Together for a Sustainable Environment”, which targets the governorates of Al-Muthanna and Al-Diwaniyah

The session was held in coordination with the Al-Muthanna Directorate of Agriculture and involved the participation of a number of local farmers. It was led by Mr. Ali Abdulhussein Hadwan and focused on the importance of climate-smart agriculture and its role in achieving food security and ensuring the sustainability of natural resources

The session addressed methods for the efficient use of water resources, reducing operational costs, and introducing models of new crops suitable for the local climate. It also emphasized the need to develop agricultural practices in a way that enhances production and increases land efficiency
